Progress Update:
I wasn't able to make the progress that I wanted to. Here is the choppy camera animation that I was able to do last class.
I am a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to make progress on the camera animation. However, I did make progress in another area of my project. I was able to save a model using the USD file format including it's MaterialX shaders. This was important to me since I haven't successfully done this before. In the long term, this means that I'll be able to build my assets (geometry and shaders) in various software packages. For example, I could create my geometry in Maya, shade in a separate Houdini file, and then attach the shader in a USD layer. I would then bring that all into Houdini to do shot assembly.
